This hand-forged squirrel roaster is made for the backwoods chef or outdoor enthusiast who appreciates practical tools with timeless craftsmanship. Made from durable steel and finished in a traditional beeswax coating, this roaster features an adjustable ground spike stand that allows you to customize the cooking height over an open fire. Both the roasting fork and ground stand are roughly 24" long. Each features a fork on one side for roasting, and a hook on the other to hang small pots etc.

While it’s designed for roasting squirrel, rabbit, fish, or other small game, it’s also perfect for hot dogs, brats, sausages, and more—making it a go-to tool for any kind of campfire cooking. Care and Use:

We finish our steel wares with a natural beeswax coating, applied hot to season the metal like cast iron. This gives it a deep, rich finish that enhances the hand-forged character of each piece.

Storage:

Keep indoors in a dry place when not in use. Like cast iron, these tools can rust if left wet. Hand wash only. Dry thoroughly.

Maintenance:

If rust appears, scrub gently with a wire brush or mild abrasive pad. Reapply any food-safe oil like mineral oil, linseed oil, or vegetable oil to reseal and protect the surface.
