Our Story – A Legacy of Craftsmanship
In 2007, a spark was struck that changed my life forever. As a young boy of fourteen, I had the deep desire to become a blacksmith. I was enamored with the history of the craft, and the amazing works that could come from utilizing ancient techniques. Slowly, though a lot of hard work and effort, I began to learn and grow until I became the craftsman I am today. I still strive to continue to learn new techniques and to uncover old ones which were nearly lost to time and industrialization. I take pride in the work that I create, and seek to be continually refined as a craftsman as I grow in my work. The challenge of new projects and fulfillment of creating new products continues to spur me forward as I put my gifts into action.

Adding New Crafts to the Forge
Abby joined both the company and Travis through their marriage in 2020. She has a wonderful spirit and takes joy in helping to design pieces, and in making her own unique art. She is an accomplished artist and creates works in drawing, painting, pyrography, and pottery. Abby adds the color to the business through both her personality and artwork.
Built to Last – Our Promise of Craftsmanship
DeWall's Forge is a a couple of artists doing what we love and seeking to advance our crafts. From blacksmithing to woodworking, leather-craft, painting, woodburning, pottery and beyond, DeWall's Forge creates customized projects, restores and gives new life to the old, and makes beautiful works of art. We are able to advance in these crafts because of the support of all who come alongside us. We love taking ideas and figuring out how to bring them into reality. We believe the spirit of craftsmanship lies in doing the best work that we are able to do with whatever we have been given.
