Hand-Forged Steel with Stainless Wire – Built for Everyday Use

This isn’t your average cheese cutter — it’s a forged original you won’t find anywhere else. Each frame is hand-forged from solid steel and finished with our traditional beeswax coating for a natural, timeless look. The stainless-steel wire is sturdy enough for everyday use, slicing smoothly through soft and hard cheeses alike.

We offer two distinct styles:

• Round Stock Frame: Simple, strong, and elegant.

• Square Stock Frame: A bit more rustic, often adorned with decorative twists for added character.

Here on our homestead, cheese is a daily staple, and every design is field-tested in our own kitchen before it’s offered to yours. Each cutter is made to last — both in function and in story.

Care & Use

Our kitchen tools are finished with a natural, beeswax-based coating — a traditional “hot wax” method similar to seasoning cast iron. This process bonds the wax to the metal for a rich, durable finish that highlights the hand-forged character of each piece.

• Hand wash and dry thoroughly after use.

• Avoid soaking or leaving in damp environments.

• Surface rust can be easily removed with a wire brush or fine steel wool, then resealed.

Re-Sealing

To keep your forged steel in top condition, apply a light coat of mineral oil or any food-safe oil after cleaning. We recommend mineral, linseed, or vegetable oil — all work well for maintaining the protective finish.

Storage

Store indoors in a dry place, much like you would your cast iron cookware. While the frame is mild steel (and can rust if neglected), the cutting wire itself is stainless and built to last through years of slicing and snacking.
